We raise our Fry to celebrate, to make ourselves heard, to attract every gaze, or simply to claim the next cone from our favorite fries vendor. Sometimes, we raise it just to share with a passing friend! One thing’s for sure: whoever raises their Fry never goes unnoticed. So, what if this first weekend of July, we all raised our Fry together? Join us for the FREE OPEN DOORS at the Micro Museum of Fries Brussels at Home Frit’ Home (242 Rue des Alliés, 1190 Brussels-Forest)! Experience fries like never before—full of humor, passion, and crunch. Because here, the Fry is an art… and it’s meant to be shared without moderation!

Free open doors:

  • Saturday, July 5, 1:30–6:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 6, 1:30–6:00 p.m.

Looping micro-cinema. Belgian-Belgian micro-shop. Fry-themed garden open!

An authentic micro museum, rooted in passion and conviviality

Since 2011, the Micro Museum of Fries at Home Frit’ Home, located at 242 Rue des Alliés in 1190 Brussels-Forest, has become a must for anyone wishing to discover the true story of Belgian fries and the richness of Fritkot Culture. Open free of charge every first weekend of the month, this one-of-a-kind museum has gained a reputation for its authenticity, warm welcome, and the passionate drive of its founders.

A place for exchange, creation, and original experiences

Home Frit’ Home doesn’t just display objects: it also offers temporary exhibitions by artists, events, guided tours full of anecdotes, and even a quirky urban guesthouse to extend the experience. Visitors can sit on the Fries Throne, take on fun challenges, or discover the “Fry TV,” all in an intimate and friendly atmosphere—far from the anonymity of major tourist attractions.

A micro museum and its societal role

Heritage and museology specialists emphasize the importance of distinguishing museums with a societal mission—dedicated to transmission and education—from purely commercial attractions. The Micro Museum of Fries at Home Frit’ Home embodies this civic mission by promoting popular culture and building connections with the local community and fries lovers from around the world.
